Texas BJJ Championships Dec. 19th, 2009

This past weekend Levi Peterson and Jason Calle competed in the white belt division at the TXBJJ Championships at Travis Lutter's Academy. Levi and Jason ending up meeting in the finals and represented themselves and our school in winning fashion bringing home 1st and 2nd place. Levi pulled out the win against Jason 2-0. Levi has been improving in his ground game, and Jason, only 3 months into BJJ, is a force to be reckoned with on the mat. Brian Blount placed 2nd and 3rd, and Blas Carrasco placed 3rd that afternoon. Thanks to all of those who showed up for the support, and thanks to Bianca for the action shots! Of course a huge thanks to our Head Coach Bret "Boulder" Bosler for always pushing us in class. He is pretty much like a god...of Jiu Jitsu that is! 2010 will be great year for Core Fight Academy. Enjoy the pics! Check back for regular updates.
